We had a busy yet relaxing Memorial Day weekend. One of the fun things we did was take the kiddos to our local park. Yes, we’ve lived here nearly 2 years and have been to this park 3 times. I’m vowing to go more this summer. The kids love it!
Jordan pushing Joshua and Joseph on the tire swing…what you can’t tell from this picture is that there is a HUGE puddle under the swing…all the big boys came home wet up to their knees with their shoes soaked. Fun, fun.
One of our other activities over the weekend was participating in our church’s parking lot sale. It was basically a big community yard sale. I went with high hopes of selling off Joanna’s and Jeremiah’s outgrown clothing and a few other knick knacks and coming home with some actual cash. I took the 3 big boys with me, which pretty much ruined that hope! Between being hungry for snacks, and seeing all sorts of things they just HAD to have at all the other vendors’ spots, they pretty much ran off with the money as fast as I could sell stuff. I did come home with a very nice high chair for $10, which we need, and a nice play kitchen, also for $10. We’ve been promising Joanna a play kitchen for a potty-training prize, so I was thrilled to find the one I wanted for such a great price!
We also came home with 2 new critters…but I’ll share those in another post, once I’ve taken some pictures of their cute fuzziness! You’ll just have to check back later!
